The TA8320 Series digital insulation resistance testers are designed for insulation testing, preventive maintenance and safety inspection of electrical equipment. They provide reliable insulation resistance measurements for motors, transformers, power cables, switchgear and other electrical systems, making them ideal for power utilities, industrial maintenance, manufacturing plants and electrical installations. The TA8321A offers selectable test voltages of 250V, 500V and 1000V, making it suitable for low-voltage electrical equipment and routine maintenance. The TA8322A extends the test range with an additional 2500V output, providing a professional solution for high-voltage cables, transformers, industrial motors and other high-voltage applications. Both models feature a built-in Guard terminal to minimize errors caused by surface leakage current, ensuring greater measurement accuracy. In addition to insulation resistance testing, they also support AC voltage measurement up to 750V, allowing users to verify the presence of live voltage before testing for enhanced operational safety. A large LCD simultaneously displays insulation resistance and test voltage, while automatic data hold, overload indication and low battery warning improve usability. The TA8322A further incorporates an insulation resistance alarm, enabling technicians to quickly identify equipment with degraded insulation. Powered by either batteries or an external AC adapter, the testers are suitable for both portable field inspections and continuous bench testing.
